Junior MacDonald is one of the Miramichi’s outstanding all-round athletes. He was a key contributor to the success of Loggieville softball teams during a 19-year career as a pitcher and a catcher from the mid 1950s to the mid 1970s. Junior also excelled in baseball and hockey, not to mention his outstanding contribution as a coach in the development of Loggieville softball.
